Dear all, As we understand that some of you have requested for sample exam question (as an indication of the level of difficulty of the exam) as there is no past exam paper for the module. Please be aware that these are not the exam questions and they are only indicative of the level of difficulty/standard of the Summer exam. There will be no suggested answer to be provided. Below are two examples. 1)
”The salary of the chief executive of the large corporation
is not a market award for achievement. It is frequently in the nature of a
warm personal gesture by the individual to himself” – John Kenneth Galbraith.
Using examples from events in the business world,
critically analyse to what extent CEOs are able to
influence their own pay. 2)
“Modern corporations are accountable to no one. Although
they attempt to be seen socially responsible, they put profits before people
and the society”. Critically discuss the above statement. Good luck with your revisions and exams! ps: There will be no revision lecture. |
